4 bed dorms are big and comfortable, and there is a good atmosphere. Bit of a walk into town but nice and close to the train station. Ganna who owns the place is a really great guy who took us out on a trip to his own Gur in the country which made our whole trip to Mongolia.

A bit far from all the actions, but proximity to the train station is a plus. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Bathroom facilities are not all functional - one of the toilets doesn't flush, one of the sinks has no water, and one bath-tub drains very slowly. Other than that, everything else is fine. Staff are helpful and friendly. Free internet is very handy.

Excellent hostel, staff very helpful, rooms are spacious and very clean. The food in the restaurant is very good and the best value in town! The only downside is that it is a bit out of the city centre so you have to walk maybe 15-20 minutes through a sketchy part of town. However, we saw UB Guesthouse and it looked terrible so the walk to this place is worth it!!!

Looks pretty scary from the outside, and the location is possibly a bit dodgy - full of drunks. But our four bed dorm with ensuite was great value, and very nice. Inclusion of TV and mini fridge, lounges great idea.

Location is near train station, but a bit of a walk to downtown. It's a pretty rough area, but security is good. Buildingis an old apartment, but well maintained. The staff is VERY helpful, picked us up at the station and also helped us with directions around town. Food is "okay", bar is cheap, but dead at night. Would stayhere nagain if in Ulaan Baatar.

We were moved from a hostel by the train station with hot water to one away from the train station with no hot water. Staff made promises that they did not keep and at one point left us starnded with out accomidation late at night so we ended up moving to another guesthouse. I would not reccomend this guesthouse based on my experience.
Free pick up from the trainstation, within walking distance from the city. Breakfast and laundry facilities excellent. ... THANK YOU

I stayed in a private room that had TV, fridge, kettle and loo roll, but no soap or towels. The hot water was never more than warm. The restaurant downstairs is convenient but there were no other travelling guests so there wasn't much of an atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave me a free pick-up from a few km out of town when the train was held up due to crashing into a truck on a level crossing. The hostel is near the train station, however they charge a $10 commission to buy train tickets - it's not difficult to buy them yourself. UB is sufficiently small that you can walk anywhere however this hostel is at least 15 minutes from any of the main sights. I would stay here again.
Really cosy little hostel very close to central UB - guy who runs it is an absolute champ, food is meaty and delicious, rooms are clean and spacious. A great example of Mongolian hospitality very close to the train station.
