Nice little place. Pretty good location-about 3 blocks from the city wall. Phillip who runs the place is helpful. There were only 4 people staying here so that made it much easier for the bathroom/kitchen situation. They have a rooftop deck for summer parties. Michael, from USA ~ 8th Nov 2009

It was a funny time there but everyone can walk in your room. The kitchen and bathroom are a little bit dirty but usable. If the rooms are full 2 toilets and 1 shower is too little for all! But if we would search again for a hostel in Quebec we would take it again. Matthias, from Germany ~ 30th Oct 2009

It's a very noisy place/location. Some rooms have paper thin walls. Rooms facing the street suffer from a hell of a racket (loud music and drunken louts) from the bar right opposite the hostel entrance. Ear plugs are a must if you want to get any sleep before 5 am.... The kitchen is rather small and only has one small table so it can get a bit crowded during meal times. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful! Sonja, from Germany ~ 19th Oct 2009

Good hostel with friendly staff in close walking distance from Old City and Downtown Quebec City. The beds are very squeaky and the mattresses are not all that great, but it\'s a good option for a short visit, and the cheapest option in this area. Meghan, from USA ~ 4th Oct 2009

Very good location for small budgets! Aurélie, from France ~ 14th Sep 2009

Doors to rooms should have locks with keys. If you are sharing a room there is no way to make sure both people can access the room if they only have latch locks. Because of this people were walking through the room all the time. Caitlin, from Canada ~ 10th Sep 2009

Cool people, ok location. HI probably better, but fun chill atmosphere, not the cleanest place but your never there anyway. Christopher, from USA ~ 15th Sep 2009

Phillippe was very nice. The area and room were not really appropriate for my needs. It seemed like a good place for the money for college age travelers. For a private room without a bathroom it was too expensive. We found an expensive suite in the upper part of Quebec that was about the same price with the breakfast included. Fun-looking hostel with a cute lil dog named Skippy. Kinda hot without AC but fan provided. Enough bathrooms to go around. Location: kinda far but could be worse. Front door open all day long, never even issued room keys, but there are lockers. When we left, we found something in one of our beds that we think *might* have been a mouse poop, but we are not sure. Overall, as long as it's not too hot, this place was not bad at all and I would stay there again I suppose. Lisa, from USA ~ 22nd Aug 2009
