Great hostel! Very Morrocan and superb location! Ali, Lahcen, Fatima and Harabia you guys are awesome and so generous! I had such a great time and if in Marrakech again I'll stay there for certain! Bastian, from Germany ~ 26th Nov 2009

Í feel really desappoint with that hostel. If you don´t do what "they want", they don´t help you in anything. A history about a "loose boss" and "we caný do anything for you" because i don´t choose their trips...

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Friendly staff, clean and safe. Lahcen and his friends did everything to make you feel comfortable... peppermint tea and shisha... Located in the heart of the medina close to the Jaam El Fna. I will definitely go there again! Nicole, from Germany ~ 24th Nov 2009

Good and safe location near the square and souks. I didn't think it was good value for money considering the other riad options in Marrakech that include breakfast, TV and AC. For the €1 breakfast charge you are better off buying your own bread and jam. Room was clean but the room gets REALLY hot in this small riad. Mustapha is your instant Moroccan BFF... some will like that others won't. Moroccans are generally very hospitable, enjoy. Jennifer, from USA ~ 12th Sep 2009

I had really enjoyed my stay in La Casa del Sol. Lahcen is always helping everybody, giving information, preparing tea, ..... whatever. The riad is very clean, and in an excellent place, only 3 minutes walking to Jamaa el Fna square. There is a computer with free internet conection that you can use. It was much hot but with a fan, no problem to sleep. I will be back in my next trip to Marrakech. JOSE VICENTE, from Spain ~ 29th Jul 2009

This hostel was an amazing breath of fresh air in Marrakech...an astoundingly friendly and generous staff will greet you with cups of mint tea, offer to cook you dinner, and sit around a table and smoke hookah with you! Plus, it's situated in the heart of the souks, central to all of Marrakech. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable...I couldn't ask for anything more! Therese, from USA ~ 12th Jun 2009

This is a really good place to stay in Marrakech. La Casa del Sol made the trip very enjoyable for me and my sister. It was easy to find and the hostel itself is a very clean and beautiful place. The staff goes out of their way to help you out with anything you need and even welcomed us with tea and a shisha pipe. Mustafa is a great guy and he will help you with anything and will make you laugh with his great sense of humor. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a good trip to marrakech James, from USA ~ 10th May 2009
