It is so refreshing to find a hostel that does more than the bare min. The sheets were soft, there were lights at the beds, and many amenities available to the guests. obvious that the staff are passionate about their work. I had a great time with the people who work there as well as the other guests. No doubt, there is no better place to stay in Napoli. La Controra is a reason in itself to go to Napoli! Can only be described as a Diamond in the rough, fantastic place to stay, everything was top knotch and Naples was great too, not as bad as most people lead you to believe.

Great place to stay..two minute walk from metro..Has computer, kitchen, and a bar at night. All for you to use when you want. Also has a garden that is great for socializing during the day and at night. The atmosphere here is what makes this hostel.Clean, Safe, and feels like home!

Really a great hostel! Nice staff, garden and rooms. I was a bit afraid to go to Naples, but the hostel really made me feel home. Nothing to blame about.

best communal areas i have seen in a hostel - the kitchen is modern and spotless, bar is friendly and lovely to have a garden. felt very comfortable here, staff are helpful and hostel is nicely tucked away from the main road. the only bad thing i can think of is the toilets - it is impossible to sit on them facing forwards in the normal way as the door is too close! however this is a minor thing for an otherwise brilliant hostel. would definitely come back.
There is NOTHING bad about this hostel, except that the bathroom doesn't get clean often... but this is the nicest hostel Ive seen, out of 15 all over europe... so far!

We got a big room 8 people, quite small for so many persons, but location was good, close to the center. Be carefull there is no parking place and very expensive to pay for one.
