Lovely place, but some people who had been staying there more than a week had never had their rooms cleaned. And for what they charge, there is no excuse for not including internet and breakfast.

One of the best hostels in South America so far, very quiet, clean, nice veranda to chill out, large rooms. Nice kitchen. The french owners are very helpfull. Location´s great, just besides the big market. Chistian, from Sweden ~ 16th Mar 2009

La Dolce Vita has great kitchen facilities. Is was quiet and has a wonderful atmosphere of tranquility. Vince, the temporary manager was very helpful and spoke good English, which in my case is a great relief, as i speak very little Spanish. Vince lent me a booklet of the sights to be seen in and around Sucre, with a map, and steered me towards a reliable tour company. Nice place to retreat to after a day of contorting oneself negotiating the narrow footpaths of Sucre. Jens, from Australia ~ 22nd Jan 2009
