Not a castle, just an old building. Not big. 3rd floor stairs are very narrow. Nice big bathrooms, and common area. Big fridge. Simple breakfast (bread and jam) + a small box of juice which one can take away instead of drink it there. Full size bed, good size room with big lockers. No clothes hangers, nor places to hang clothes. It's close to both Los Heroes and Republica stations (the latter has a small Unimac grocery store next to it). Within walking distance to Moneda Palace. zhong, from USA ~ 8th Mar 2012

Nice hostel and staff. Clean. Problems with the internet at the moment of my stay. Security door. TV and hang out area with books. Showers could be upgraded. 5 min walking to centre. Marcus, from Sweden ~ 16th Jan 2012

This was a wonderful hostel. Definitely the best I've ever stayed in South America. The building is a national heritage house that has been updated with new bath fixtures and electrics. The house has a lot of character with it's Spanish Morrocan architecture. The management is excellent, friendly and helpful. It's one of the cleanest hostels I've ever stayed in. The breakfast is open late which I appreciated. The location is excellent and is safe any time of day. It's not too noisy at night Patrick, from USA ~ 8th Jan 2012

Was awesome staying there. Staff is great, the building is really beautiful, free computer, late breakfast, huge TV-screen, big and comfortable beds! And round the corner there are lots of bars and pubs. Plus the historical center is really close. Recommended. Read Owner Comments Marina, from Russia ~ 24th Jul 2011
