Landgasthof Simon in Phuket Patong Beach, Germany

This place is called a hostel, but it's really a bed and breakfast. Great breakfast and dinner and the room was very nice and clean. Had a great view from my balcony of the village and the river running through it. The village of Waldrach is about 20 km outside of Trier, but I would definitely recommend going there. Beautiful place in awesome Waldrach, 6 miles from Trier(an easy ride). Pleasant owner/staff. Rooms were very nice/clean/comfortable. Breakfast on enclosed back room area, very nice! Good food. Saturday night we had a blast with an Octoberfest celebration in the bar. Friendly folks with plenty of dancing. We communicated very well even though being American, our German was poor at best. They made us feel extremely comfortable and embraced my wife and I as good friends. For the price compared to w paul, from USA ~ 11th Oct 2011
