Adorable nice quiet place to stay. Adam and Judith were great and they gave great suggestions for things to do. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anybody who takes the trip to Budapest!

it was really nice. the staff there were really helpful. want to say thank you to them!!!!!and i felt really comfortable when i stayed there, felt like a home. its good for a couple to stay there, because its very relax and quite. but if u are looking for fun, or meeting other people, it obviously not for u.

Honestly one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at for the price. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming treating us to coffee and tea the instant we arrived, sitting us down and showing us a map and talking about the city etc. Also, impeccable location literally steps from a convenient metro and finally very affordable, large, very clean private room.

Lavender Circus is a hostel with its own character, I felt at home with my own bed in a room that was almost too big (in a good way)! Judit was very helpful and gave me information when I asked, and even once called Adam to see if he was going out that night where I was looking to go! Could be a little lonely if you're traveling in Budapest for the first time alone. It's a low-key place, good if you're looking for a bit of privacy as I often came and went without seeing anyone. Great hostel. Huge rooms, very original decoration and style. Maybe Adam is a spirit, we never saw him but Judith and Agnes were very helpful. We definitely recommend this hostel

Absolutley loved that hostel!!! Staff is also very nice and helpful! Quiet place, but cozy and friendly. Dont expect a party, but always up for a little chat. Will come back for sziget festival :)

Lavender Circus hostels is definitely one of the best hostel I ve never been in. The managers Adam and Judith are very nice and helpfull! A piece of paradize in Hungary!just hope to be back soon..

We spent 3 nights in this hostel and it was really good. The hostel is in the south part of the real city center of Pest so it is close to everywhere - immediatelly next to a subway station on the inner city circuit. That was the only problem - currently there is a lot of building activities in the whole Budapest and the city is jammed by traffic. The bridge close to the hostel was closed, as well as main crossroad next to hotel. Also tram rails on the street were being repaired. And 2 rooms of
