The worst in our case was the fact that owner of this place came for money during the night knocking on the door and waking us up! We came there only for one night to sleep over and because of that we didn't manage to do it :( No internet. It's on the croasroad and very noisy. Definately overpriced. We felt there like in dark lonely hut. Sad place.

Bit misleading about the location - you are only a 15min walk to the city gates, but its another 20min walk to the main piazza. Also, villa is on a main road so I'd ask for a room at the back as the traffic was quite loud. Owner was really helpful with suggestions for restaurants, but we probably wouldn't stay here again.

DIONISIO told us much about Siena. The Rooms are clean. The houses are located at roadside with a garden. One road has a lot of traffics during daytime. No pipe on the floor of the bathroom. The pipe of the shower flows slowly. It is suggested by us to wash clothes at washing sink. Overall, it's a nice place to stay.

Far too expensive for the room they offer.

Great little place close to everything with huge rooms. But there was no staff at all, so we had to keep answering the door to let new people in and tell them to call the staff by phone.

great hostel in close walking proximity to old town, very cheap for the quality of the room, large and clean with double and single bed. no reception but one call to owner (who speaks excellent english) was all needed to check in. would recomend to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing stay.

What a beautiful place - we wish we could've stayed longer! Friendly owner but make sure you call before you show up to avoid having to try to find a pay phone nearby.

Nothing great about the place. Pretty average for what you're paying. I've been at better hostels/hotels in Italy for less.

The villa is a little out of the way from the town centre and since Siena is so hilly a lot of walking will have to be done. Getting to restaurants or shops can be a bit troublesome at night. The lady who stays to look after the place is very nice and helpful but does not speak a word of English. The villa itself is clean a garden around it (surrounded by roads) and is ideal for married couples, less so young backpackers. You cannot use the kitchen and it would be nice if they let us use it.

Two words; Bed Bugs. I was eaten alive! Great hotel though. No reception, so ring ahead, as there might not be anyone around. Nice Italian lady, didnt speak any english. >>If travelling from the BUSABOUT dropoff point, dont walk, get a bus<<
