Could only stay for one night. It's a small hostel (they're the best usually), and it offers absolutely everything you could expect at the price, and probably more. Everyone is very easygoing and yet organized. I would love to come again! Sebastian, from Germany ~ 4th Jan 2012

This hostel is in an amazing area!! There is so much to do in all directions. The staff were amazing one of them highlighted a map for us of all the places she thought we'd like based on our conversation and gave us detailed directions. Definitely a great place to stay. They had a very helpful and friendly staff who told us some great places to see in Montreal. The bathrooms and showers are clean, but make sure to bring soap because one didn't have it. They give toast, jam, and coffee in the morning which is really nice. Great location too! right next to a bike stand and clubs/bars Amy, from USA ~ 26th Aug 2011

The staff made me miss my train by giving me the wrong id card back BUT tried everything possible to help me afterwards and a good arrangement was found. I thoroughly enjoyed my 'extra' days in Montreal. Go to this hostel! Matthijs, from Belgium ~ 22nd Aug 2011

The only problem with this place is that some of the rooms face the main street and the traffic noise can become a problem to light-sleepers (like me).The staff are polite and friendly and they provide great breakfast. Leila, from USA ~ 17th Aug 2011

Overall good stay. Be sure to ask if you are booking a basement room or not - the windows didn't open so it was stuffy, they did have a fan in there for us. You can't beat fresh air and it wasnt a bad deal for a night. Gabrielle, from USA ~ 16th Aug 2011

Of all the hostels that we have stayed in this one was the most bare bones. The bathroom was kind of in the room - right there. And the breakfast was packaged bread that you place on a heated grill and then have pnut butter and jelly on it. Also, we were directed to a parking lot where our car was looted the first night there. They never mentioned that it was unsafe nor were there any signs to that effect. Excellent and very helpful staff, has a very homey feel. Only downside is there is no a/c during those hot nights. Daniel, from USA ~ 7th Aug 2011
