Very nice place, but quite noisy at night, and quite dirty. Bed bugs and scabies cases in the dormitory, a little SCARY!!! Also, they say that the whole place is non-smoker and it's not true. clara, from France ~ 13th Oct 2009

The young man who greeted us during the week was excellent but the other who worked the weekend was rather surly. We froze through our first night in a caravan, but were provided with a heater the next day. I felt that someone might have anticipated the need for a heater since it was so cold in the day. I really enjoyed this hostel, it is really unique inside, a fun and very socialable layout. Not very private but the curtains across the beds help. I dont think I stayed at the busiest time so there were not too many people there, but everyone was really friendly. I would definately stay here again. Oh - and no sign of the famous bedbugs either! The gypsy cabins have 2 double beds so not really suitable for 3-4 friends travelling. They are also located in the yard so not convenient to use facilities. Derek, from Ireland ~ 22nd Sep 2009

It is really a funky and special hostel. It's one house with a lot of beds, seperated only by linen, a kitchen, bathroom ... and no doors at all. So maybe your bed is directly above the kitchen and you smell every cooked meal. If you like your privacy, don't stay in this hostel at all. (There is no separeted bathroom for men and women!) If you like to meet people and you have no problem with less space, less privacy and noise nights, I would recommend it. ;-) You're lying on an air mattress. Vera, from Germany ~ 4th Sep 2009
