We had a great double room for cheaper than most hostels in Shanghai. The staff was really nice and we ended up staying 3 more nights. The area isn't really close to a lot of nightlife, but there are a bunch of cheap street food/restaurants in the area. It's also a quick walk to the metro line which makes the rest of the city easily accessible. We'd definitely staty here again. Caroline, from USA ~ 13th Jun 2011

Slippers, some nice Ikea exfoliating body wash and comfy slippers were all a plus. Also a dvd room fully stocked with some favorites. One thing was that it was right next to the metro, but all in all a quite nice spot. Julie Grimm, from USA ~ 17th May 2011

This hostel was very well-equipped, organized, and home furnish. They have a very large space in the ground floor for people to study, read, and relax. The hostel also offers free wifi and computers are readily available for customers to use. The environment felt like I was at home in America. My only complaint was the bed. My bed had too many dead mosquitoes lying on the bed sheets. There were also too many mosquitoes flying around the room. But despite that issue, I would still recommend the h Roy, from USA ~ 29th Apr 2011
