I really find it hard to speak badly of this hostel: the location is great, the staff are great and the beer garden at the top: well it must be great in summer.... But... Renovations at 7am, 7 days a week! I mean 7am!!! Would i recommend you go there now, no. Would i recommend you go there once renovations are completed: YES! Stephen, from Australia ~ 27th Nov 2011

In early august I booked this hostel at the last minute based on reviews here and tripadvisor. It was my first hostel experience so I was very nervous. However, it was easily one of the best places I stayed in China. The rooms were clean, staff friendly, and nicely located. During thid time I made some incredible friends from around the world while drinking in the bar upstairs. We got up to some fairly crazy antics in that area, (we partied with the 11 dutch girls from an earlier review :)The me Marco, from Canada ~ 28th Oct 2011

This is the third time my wife or I have stayed at Le Tour(Nov 2010, June 2011, June 2011).I was only there the last time but feel safe knowing when my wife was across the ocean she was in a clean and safe location. 3-4 blocks from 2 different subway lines including the important Line 2.Internet slow during the day.Would recommend! Great hostel. We stayed in the private rooms and although bare, they were clean and perfect for the price.Breakfast was a little too expensive in my opinion for what you got and being in China. I would stay there again without a doubt. Anne, from USA ~ 13th Jun 2011
