It's close to the French Concession and in a very safe area. Never mind the alley to get there. Staff is very helpful and everything is quite new. Great price, great options. I'm happy I stayed there and I'd definitely go back. Greetings!

This hostel was ok we had originaly booked a dorm but we were dissapointed with the crowded and muginess in there so we upgraded to a private room which was great. The staff here does not speak good english at all and they are not very helpfull. There is access to the internet but there are only 2 computers and the 15 min. per person is not monitored so the access is rare. Not a bad place to stay but not a great place to stay that's all.

It is great that the staff are always at the reception, even after midnight. It makes the place safe, especially if you are a single female coming back late. Kudos also for the distilled water, spotless and immaculately-maintained bathrooms and the warm & cheery environment.

Great location, just in the heart of the city. Eateries, restaurants, supermarket nearby. Breakfast is available for a small fee 8-12 am. Metro line, public transport, massage is also nearby. Very helpful staff! Highly recommended.

Great place to stay, have stayed in both double room and dorms here and can really recommended it. Large common area but with little people, lacks a bar... Recommend it!

This Hostel was AMAZING! It had every quality of a nice hotel and the staff was very friendly and most spoke great english! The location is perfect right in downtown Shanghai. I have stayed at many places in my 30 day journey in China and this was by far the place yet.
