First I couldn't get a key to my room... When I returned after a couple of hours out my room had the door open with nobody in there...

I was suprised there even was a kitchen; we didn't know we could cook in the hostel, but it turned out better then we thought.

very hard to get to, the dircetions were horrible, no locks on any of the doors, the bathrooms were too gross to use, and two people had sex in our room while we were trying to sleep. For one night it was torrible, but i don't recommend staying there unless you absolutely have to.

Stayed in a 8bed dorm together with friends, rooms were clean, shower and toilet weren`t really nice, the shower on the first floor didn´t work, either very hot or cold, blocked drain. Quite disgusting. Otherwise worth the price.

No carpets in rooms and wooden doors without hinges means there is a serious problem with slamming doors, especially at night when each one reverberates around the building which itself has no sound proofing. Belfast has few hostels which is why this one always gets full quickly, so the staff couldn't care less as they have guaranteed business. Would never stay there again.

Have reviewed this twice. For £6.50 its a roof over your head. Girls pay the extra £1 for a single-sex dorm its MUCH cleaner & nicer. Bring a padlock or 2, one for locker one for your backpack. Keep food in your locker. DON\'T leave tobacco or lager unattended anywhere for a second! Lots is broken & rundown. Shame as staff are good, just facilities/systems poor.

Food/drink stolen. Someone different in my bed each night. Gaby very cheerful & helpful. CCTV in kitchen would help Im diabetic my bloodsugar levels were at risk because of thieves. Guest was banned as management didnt like look of him judgemental & bad. Toilet room 21 broken whole stay people had been urinating in the sink so the room STANK. Need to enforce the one-person-per-single-bed policy. Shagging in dorms, its gross. & My duvet stank of FEET.
