Not a particularly great place. Don't be fooled by the whole "former music studio" thing; there's a couple pictures on the walls, nothing else. The location is great -- just across the river from Temple Bar. The rooms were overfilled, having 10 to 12 in spaces other hostels would use to fit 6-8. Bathrooms didn't win any awards either.

Take a spare sheet with you, that will make the blanket used by 100s of others feel cleaner :) This is the price for the best location.

I really enjoyed my holidays in dublin and at the litton lane hostel, it's a very cosy hostel, it's quite close to the temple bar, the staff is very helpful and nice, so I suggest it for all travellers who would like to stay in Dublin.

Everything was great, except for the bathrooms. There are only two toilets (and two showers) in each floor, and the toilets would not flush. The bathrooms definitely could use some renovations. The location is great though!

This place was absolutely terrible, do not stay here under any circumstances!
The one working toilet and one working shower for all the girls were both revolting. The shower was black and mouldy, the toilet only flushed sometimes and the whole place was unhygenic.
Everyone I spoke to regretted staying there. The only good thing was the location but there were other hostels right nearby.
Another word of warning, I met plenty of people who had bedbugs in their room!
this place is a nightmare!!!!

the showers do not work, it is the same for the flushes, there is a lot of noise in the street in this location and it is really more expansive than other places.... it was nearly awful!!

I really loved this hostel, one of my favorites, the staff is very friendly and helpful, they really made us feel home, location is just awesome 1 minute the river liffey and the o'connell street,5 minutes temple bar and trinity college, we stayed at litton lane for our last night in ireland and the agreable stay at this hostel made the perfect ending for our trip, thanks a lot :-)ps: they had the cleanest showers of all the seven hostels we stayed at, and you CAN regulate the temperature ;-)

fue muy divertido. la ubicacion genial. las duchas de chicas no funcionaban en la 3a planta. nos gustó mucho y lo aconsejo. está en el centro, al lado del río. Volvería a ir.
