a wonderfull castle and a great experience, the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen are rally clean, and the common rooms have a lot of charactere, really worth the stay ! Marie Agnes, from France ~ 4th Oct 2009

We loved this hostel!! Beautiful site, beautiful castle, right across the road from the breath taking Loch Lomond!! It is about a 50 min walk away from the town of Balloch (the nearest train station), but it is well worth the bit of isolation just to get a glimpse of the beautiful Scottish countryside!
