This was one of the best hostels I have stayed in. It is in a good location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Next time I'm back in Wellington I will stay here.

Very basic and a some parts in need of some attention but for the price of a single room it is a pretty good deal - and the sheets are clean which is the most important thing!
The stuff are doing the very best to run this ruff Lodge, there are things to repair. Any way, I did sleep very well and had a good time in Wellington./ Peter Umeå Sweden
The bar didnt open when I was there which is a bit down but overall it is a good place to rest yourself in.

very helpful staff, very clean and well organised. Good security thanks. I was in Wgtn for a Seminar so did not spend a lot of time at the Lodge but it was ideal for my needs and very central.

I was very happy with this hostel. Usually it's a coin toss when you go to a hostel you haven't been to before, luckily this one landed heads up! Clean, friendly, great facilities, and a central location, I couldn't have been happier.

The bar was never open late enough which is when it would be cool to socialise with the other occupants of the hostel because sitting around in the tv room everyone was quiet and it was too boring. Masani was fantastic with helping us jump start our car andour compliments to her for always being friendly.all in all agood place to stay, will recommend it to other people in the future.
