  • I stayed at Loki Hostel even though I wasn't in the mood to party. My dorm room on the first floor was relatively quiet (very little bar noise, but a few drunk guests being annoying) and I was able to sleep well enough. Other pros included the breakfasts (pay a tiny bit more for a great meal), the location and the great views. I was less impressed by the cleanliness (the bathroom garbage can with used toilet paper wasn't emptied daily) and the staff at the tour desk's attitude.

  • There were people partying on the stairs and floors of the hostel. I was unable to sleep for 2 nights. You need someone to walk around the 6 floors at night or else you lose all control. It was a frustrating stay.

  • Brilliant hostel. Pretty moist at night, but with ear plugs I slept fine. Really helpful staff, brilliant view across the city from the bar... The hostel has moved since it originally opened, so make sure you give the taxi driver the address of the hostel, not just the name- as I got dropped off at the old one and it's not an easy walk at altitude.

  • Some rooms are very close to the bar and therefore really noisy at night, one room had no windows. The beds are big and comfy and the bread for breakfast is very good.
