The place is actually pretty ok. We got a good room although the price was not the cheapest around. The people that work there are pretty laid back.

The Hostel was overbooked so I stayed at the other property, across the street. The Monaco Inn was run down. It felt really cramped for five people. There was plenty of heat which was great in the sub zero temperatures. Next time, I would spend more and stay in less shabby accomodations.

the manager was totally unhelpful and was extremely condescending a lot of the time.

I cancelled my stay in the hostel. I am very sure I did it 24 hours prior to my arrival. I don't know why I got this mail. I havent checked my credit card yet whether I am charged one night stay. I dun hope that to happen

Someone broke into our room through the window at 4a.m. We weren't sure if he was supposed to be staying in that room or what, so we left. Rooms were clean but not fancy, location nice, security about as low as it gets.
It's a DUMP. Bathroom door would not close. Bathroom towel rack fell off wall. Difficult to make shower produce hot water. You have to ask for a sheet. Did not receive a pillow case. The lid on the ice machine is missing. They use a garbage bag to keep dust off of ice. Ice machine scoop handle broken off. Scoop cracked. Must have a laptop to access the internet. This hostel consists of bunk beds in a former hotel room.
