Staff were friendly and helpful.Location is good, walkable from train station and airport bus.Zhongshan night market is also close by.The lobby can get pretty loud and crowded, and the internet speed isn't great.The surroundings could be awesome if the government cleaned up the sewage river flowing through much of the city. This is the best hostel I have EVER stayed at (I've stayed at a lot). The staff are friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The bathrooms are PRISTINE. I never would have guessed that the cleanest hostel bathrooms I'd ever see would be in China. Wonderful Western toilets, plenty of toilet paper, and soap at the sinks! I haven't seen anything of the sort elsewhere in China. The Vietnamese visa service is a godsend. No extra fee, and very fast service. If in Nanning, I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Nice hostel with nice location and helpfull staff. Due to work outside the hostel the water was cut off for 2 days... wich was a little anoying for the bathrooms, but overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Alexandre, from Canada ~ 20th Aug 2011

The free visa service is the best aspect of this hostel. Overall, a good hostel for the price. The only gripe is that the bathrooms are on a different floor from the rooms. A little annoying if you need to pee in the middle of the night. Cheap laundry is a plus! Neil, from USA ~ 25th Jun 2011

Absolutely great place. 5 . Relaxed atmosphere, staff and guests extremely friendly, great location, super shpwer, great beds. The common area was particualrly lovely to pass a few hours in if you need a quick catch up. Nanning itself was really nice, very clean for China and pretty modern. A pleasant feel to the place.
