The night at Lovett's Hostel was good. The room was really clean. The lady who welcomed us was really nice and available. She gave us names of places we could chill out and eat. The only negative points were the noises in the evening: until 11 PM, people were talking pretty loud in the house, taking showers and the other thing was the beds on casters. i think all the hostels in dingle are over priced including lovetts.there was a permanent bad smell of frying around the house,perhaps lack of ventilation.the family were also living more or less in the hostel,it just did not have that hostel feel to the place,certainly nothing creative or interesting about it.i certainly would not go back or recommend it. fergal, from Ireland ~ 23rd Feb 2012

Not so much a hostel as some bunk beds at the back of a family house, this was definitely a unique experience. The family became much more friendly when they discovered that my wife was learning to speak Irish. It was very clean and right around the corner from the main tourist area, which was nice.
