The staff was warm and friendly and we just loved them. The room was very charming and they are redecorating all the rooms, adding a coffee and snack machine and a breakfast bar. These people are on the move. It was also quiet despite the location close to the train station. By the way, we stayed at the sister hotel, Hotel Ester. Cathy, from USA ~ 12th Oct 2009

Luna Rossa is a great hostel. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. I can't wait to go back to Florence...I'll definitely stay there again. You can't beat the location either...everything is within walking distance. Beau, from USA ~ 19th Oct 2009

I have traveled all over Australia and New Zealand and this by far is the best hostel that I have ever stayed at. It's literally a 5 minute walk from the train station and soo close to ALL sightseeing! I recommend this hostel to everyone and anyone that is staying in Florence. Marco and is family are GREAT!! The staff was very helpful and informative. The room had a ton of great ammenties. Luna Rossa surpassed my expectations. My room had AC, computer with internet and skype and a safe. I did hear from a fellow traveller that not all the rooms have the same accessories so if the above details are important to you request them when you make your reservation.
