- “ We stayed during the Queen's Day celebrations and it has good priced beds in the 5-women's dorm. It has very comfortable and soft beds, warm, quiet (we stayed on the 8th floor), and clean with modern facilities. The toilet could use more privacy though, as the door is thin and we heard everything. Breakfast was so-so, could use more fresh fruit and be extended to 11.30am for late birds. Thank you to your staff for helping me with internet access as my smart phone was robbed! ”

- “ The hostel does not sit right in the middle of Amsterdam, it's a couple miles away, but it's right next to the Amsterdam Sloterdijk Railway and Tram station, so it's really fast to get to the action. The staff was amazing. They've upgraded me to a single bedroom without even asking! I definitely recommend this hostel for a low budget stay at Amsterdam. ”

- “ excellent hostel. Felt like a four star hostel. Breakfast was great, showers and toilets were always clean, and the atmosphere was good since the hostel had it's own bar within the premises. Would defently return to any of their hostels located in europe in the near future. ”

- “ This is more a hotel room that you are able to share with strangers. The location is okay for airport transfers and close to the train station so not difficult to get anywhere. This suited my needs well, but if you are looking to meet other travellers and explore the inner city this probably isn't the hostel for you. One complaint would be the lack of continuity in the service, four nights I was there and we were supplied with towels, then on the last we were informed that we had to pay for them ”

- “ We had a great time at this Hostel. We were a group of four and one of us booked separately, the staff made a few changes so that we could all be in the same room. The bar area is comfortable and convenient. Only a ten minute train ride to Central Amsterdam. ”

- “ Booked 4 beds in a four-bed mixed dorm (bath ensuite) and after our arrival we were told that our room was unavailable and we had to stay in a 7-bed mixed dorm! The explanation given by the indignant staff is completely unreasonable. If a group of four people (mixed) books four beds in a four-bed mixed dorm what else is to assume than being willing to stay in the same room? The staff explained that we should have booked a four bed private, which was NOT available while booking. How to know? ”

- “ Overall my stay was fine but the reason I chose this hostel was mainly because it said they had free wi-fi. The connection was very poor most of the time I was there. It was either slow or wouldn't connect at all. ”

- “ Great Hostel for both youngsters and oteher people. Not located in the most central parts of Amsterdam but 15 minutes by bus or 30 euros from central station by taxi. A good hostel and great staff. ”

- “ Good place to stay, not expensive. The only problem we had was the air condition in the rooms, which could not be switched off, so there was a constant noise during the whole night. This is because the windows of the rooms are fix, cant be openend, so the hotel needs a central airconditioning... :( A good budget place to stay, with very good public transport connection - Sloterdiijk is only 100 meters away. ”

- “ Excellent stay, can't complain about anything. 5 minute train ride from Amsterdam Centraal. Friendly staff, clean rooms, brilliant breakfast service. The only thing I would suggest is putting up a sign informing new arrivals where the entrance is, we ourselves got very confused and wandered around for a while before we could find it and saw loads more people looking confused and lost outside the building. ”

- “ Its close to the tram, makes it easy to get to the downtown and around. It is basically a hotel with the exception you can share a room with stranger. Very polite staff, very clean accessiable facility. I would definately visit again. ”

- “ This is definitely a hostel for families and low-key travellers. Staff were polite and helpful, facilities were clean and new, but it's just far enough away from the city centre to be inconvenient, and it feels more like a hotel than a place to meet new people. Also, the kitchen's a bit small (especially if families are cooking dinner) and the wifi kept dropping out. ”

- “ very rood staff commenting the guests and replying to them with almost shouting. When the guest leaves the reception I have heard the staff commenting on the guest. I haven't seen this anywhere but here.:( ”
