Cette auberge de jeunesse n'est pas située en plein centre de Berlin mais le très bon réseau de transport en commun de la ville rattrape ce défaut. Rien à dire sur la propreté. Le staff est accueillant, chaleureux et disponible. Par contre, l'endroit manque vraiment de chaleur, on a l'impression d'être dans une usine à touristes, bien que des gens de toutes provenances et de tous âges fréquentent cette auberge de jeunesse. Cependant, pour une prestation qui reste très correcte, le prix est vraiment bas. Bonne impression d'ensemble.
This guesthouse is not situated in full center of Berlin but the very good transport network in common of the city catches up this defect. Nothing to say on the cleanliness. The staff is friendly, warm and available. On the other hand, the place really misses heat, we have the impression to be in a factory for tourists, although people of any origins and any ages frequent this guesthouse. However, for a performance which remains very correct, the price is really low. Good impression of set.

The girl in the expedition was doing too many things at the same time, so she seemed very stressed when helping us. The cleaning was not super since the toilets had some unpleasant odour and only 4 out of 6 beds were made when we came at our appointed time.

I've stayed in Meininger hostels before and always found them pleasant and clean so I decided to stay there again on a recent trip to Berlin. We were put in a 6 bed dorm with other people around our age. At about midnight a school group of what sounded like several hundred adolescent children showed up and took over the floor we were on. From what I can tell we were the only "adults" on the floor and our room was smack in the middle of them. They ran up and down the halls knocking on the walls and the doors and screaming to eachother until around 4 am. The employees at the hostel did nothing about this. I'm glad we only stayed one night and I won't be returning.

stayed in an 8 bed mixed dorm and met some really great people. the ensuite washroom was always clean and the breakfast was good. there were lockers for everyone in the room so all luggage was always secure. located within walking distance to brandenburg gate but was reallykk cold when we were there so the metro was just down the street. very convenient and they gave us a free gift of 20min of internet at check-in

Lost our reservation and charged us for the more expensive rooms. We were unhappy from the start and even more upset when we found out that there were beds empty in the cheaper dorm rooms. We felt cheated and were very unsatisfied with the help that we recieved. Even with our confirmation information printed, we were charged double what we booked and given no extra amenities to remedy the situation. The hostel was nice but the customer service was lacking.
