Good location, round the corner of Bahnhof Altona. Everything clean and nice, though the warm and familiar atmosphere is missing a bit because it's quite large. Spent a night in 10 beds dormitory. The room was rather small. But everything was really clean. Got some problems with my locker but staff was helpful. Breakfast was above the average. The location is also good - only 5 minutes from Altona S-Bahn (about 15 min from Hbf). For such a low prise i would strongly recommend this hostel. A nice hostel. The room was nice and it was very good that every bed had curtains around it so one got some privacy. However, my locker was broken and I couldn´t get a new one. It is a nice, clean, modern hostel with relatively high quality standards and all that. On the other hand it does not really have a unique character, the fun-factor converges to zero. For a hotel it is too hostel-like but for a hostel it is too hotel-like. The elevator is unbearably slow. Apart from that, I would recommend it, it is good place if you just want a good night sleep.
