- “ This is the worst hostel ever I have stayed at. Staff are not friendly. The floor in front of the lift was very dirty and sticky but no one tried to clean even they noticed. The location is very far from the main station (15-20min walk) and there is no nearby restaurants. Room had luggage storage however there was no locker! No power point for each person in the dorm room. But the worst thing was they required us to pay for the internet access as the free wifi only covers the ground floor! ”

- “ Nice staff, good bar with offers, spacious rooms and good facilities. Not in the middle of things but close to the nearest station to get to the more interesting parts of the city. Does have a nice beer hall opposite. ”

- “ The place is close to the S-Bahn if you know where to look from the station. Exit on the side where it says Pension at the Grunbergallee station and walk straight on the street where the market is at.Keep walking to the end of the street and you will see a path to the street where the hotel is at. It takes a while to get into town since there is no direct line to it. I stayed in the room with two beds and the pillows sucked (oddly filled so it was not comfortable) and the bed was hard as a rock ”

- “ The kitchen and fridge are very dirty. And no free internet or wifi... 1 euro per 20 minutes, very expensive... Also, its very far form the Munich Hbf, walk about 30 minutes... ”
- 25 July 2012 Yuen Lun
- “ We thought that the Meiniger was pricey. Everything seemed to be an extra like breakfast, wifi in the room. The wifi did not work on the one night and the laundry did not work on all the nights we were there. I was expecting more for the money they charged. ”

- “ Unfortunately, after we made our way from the train station to the hostel, we were told that the facility was overbooked. Although arrangements had been made to place us in the Ibis hotel at the same rate, it would have been nice if we could have been informed of the change before we bought our tram tickets and made our way to the Meininger hostel. The ibis was comfortable and accommodating, although it was a little further out of the city center than the Meininger was. ”

- “ Pas de pression sur la pomme de douche dont le flexible fuyait. Attente de l'ascenseur trop longue. ”
