It sucked! The guy on the reception was soooo cold. He even does not say Hello or Sorry or Thank you. The lady was okay. Rooms were not clean. And the shower just made me sick: you have to push the button for a few second's water!!! The only good thing of this hostel was the logo and the breakfast. Renzhi, from China ~ 3rd Nov 2009

It's not too bad, but the bathrooms concerns me as it doesn't have any hangers or places to put your stuff and the showers that you have to keep on pushing the button for it to work. There is nothing "mad" about this hostel. The rooms are cramped and the bathroom door in our room didn´t even shut properly or lock. The kitchen is a broom cupboard. As a woman travelling alone I was a little peeved to be placed in a room on my own with 5 guys. The fact that they all turned out to be legends was the only thing that made this hostel worth the stay. The staff weren´t particularly friendly despite my reasonable attempts at speaking Spanish. The breakfast is more or less and you can't eat how much you want. The Location is good but a lithe dangerous after 23hs. The bathroom is ok. The bedroom is a lithe small. The kitchen for common use is small and the staffs didn’t clean regularly. Erich, from Brazil ~ 1st Jul 2009

This hostel have the same owner than the Cat's Hostel. Really similar and near, you should go to the Cat's bar to have more fun, but i loved my experience at Mad. Alexandre, from Canada ~ 3rd Jun 2009

Great location. Amenities include free internet, spacious common room with tv and pool table and plentiful seating, small kitchen, washing machines and even a small gym on the roof. Security is great - you need a key to get past reception and there are secure lockers in the rooms for each guest. Free breakfast also consisting of coffee/tea/hot chocolate, cereal/croissant and orange juice. My only problems were that the room was a little cramped and the bar was not open while I was there.
