to be honest, we gotto the road in bangkokaftertaking a taxi and a tuk tuk and couldnt find it. we asked numerous people andnoone hada clue, letalone heardofit... so we leftthearea and settled for a place in banglamphu... very disappointing. whats even more disappointing is that i payed a dep[osit... the area was awful... itwas a shanty to be honest, on the side of a motorway away from everything!

I liked the fact that it was located in a Thai neighbourhood, rather than in the tourist and pizza joint saturated areas. Getting into town was very easy - bus stop virtually at your doorstep and 10 minute walk to subway.

once you find the subway 10min walk from madras its not so isolated , staff was helpful , backpackers was clean , but dont expect to see any1 else at this backpackers you will be on your own , however it has everything you need just remember the subway. Phra Ram 9 station.

The hostel was excellent, but there were no people there. I was the only one. It is quite a distance from the center of the city.

OH MY GOD, WHERE DO I START!!! The place was out in the middle of nowhere- even the taxi driver couldn't find it & he'd lived in Bangkok all his life!! When I finally got to the hostel it was nice enough but there was nothing in the surrounding areas- no shops, no life. The hostel was also deserted & at first I thought I was gonna be on my own but later on 2 other people turned up- thank goodness! Unfortunately they were both only staying the night. Id already started thinking what am I going to do here for a week when the girl mentioned I should definately leave & get down to khao san road. Which I did & is wicked!!!

Very clean, neat hostel with excellent staff, very helpful. However the hostel was far away from the central bangkok and any sights.

The directions to get thre are useless and the area of town that it is in was too far from the centre of bangkok for us. the tuk tuk driver took an hour and a half to find it. we stayed in the double room and it was very overpriced considering furnishings and location. shared bathrooms good and staff friendly.

Good place if you are not interested in staying around Banglampoo. Nice family run place. The daughter runs around here.
