The room was freezing and we even asked the front desk to help us fix the heater and they never did.Also, at night, the hostel seems to turn into the local bar and everyone hangs out.If you are trying to sleep...GOOD LUCK!! The walls are SUPER thing because you can hear the exact words in everyone's conversations. SUPER ANNOYING.But this place is in the BEST location-right on the Main Market Square. Mama's Hostel was at an excellent location (right by the main square), was well kept, and had a great staff who really sought hard to make sure your stay was enjoyable. Loved the free breakfast and coffee in the morning, and free wi-fi is always a plus. :) The only downside was that, at least during my stay there, quite a few people from my room liked to go out and party and come back late drunk...which made sleep almost impossible some nights. Great location. The staff is really friendly. the help me to look for some activites around the city and helped me to book them. Half a block from main square, but because of its great location it might be a little noise during the weekend. it is not easy to find it at the first time it needs some more directions jorge, from Mexico ~ 1st Nov 2011

The staff at Mama's were amazing. They were very helpful with booking tours and giveing us info on the area. The hostel was always very clean and plesant to stay in. The best hostel i have ever been to Oliver, from Australia ~ 21st Apr 2011
