  • Most hostels aren't heated, but Mama Simona takes this a step too far by keeping doors and windows open all the time, and having about zero insulation. It is downright freezing in the hostel at night and in the mornings during the colder months.

  • Wonderful hostel, close to the San Pedro market, restaurants, laundry services and grocery store. It always felt clean and safe and the staff was great. I would definitely recommend Mama Simona for a peaceful place to stay while in Cusco.
