Nice authentic hostel, good location.Good free breakfast. Could have been a little cleaner in room next to Kitchen (a little dusty) Room next to kitchen was great in size but for those who like a good sleep in its too close to Kitchen.(too noisey) Character was great and maybe one more shower would have been nice. Also allowed us to stay for one night and not have to book mim 2 nights which other hostels required.

Great place--easy to find--super helpful staff; the dormitories were well done, the feeling chill, and there was great advice from the people working there. Felt like your own space ie) staying with a friend. Would do it again and recommend to others. Best hostel we've stayed in. Thanks much!
one of the best hostels i\'ve ever stayed in. the staff was very helpful with suggesting places to see in Budapest. the kitchen was exceptionally clean and a pleasant hang-out area. i loved how quiet and cozy Mandragora was. after a long day it was a great place to come home to...great character, beautiful decor, attracts a nice clientele. thanks guys!!
This is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in! Its themed rooms gave the place loads of character and the chilled out atmosphere is just what you need after a day in the city. The staff were great and the hostel is full of information on the city and surrounding areas. Free breakfast and Internet access is just another bonus to this hostel.

Very charming place, lovely staff. They thought of everything! Tons of information, maps and reviews for the city. Very accomdating hostel. Only downfall is the limited number of bathrooms during the morning rush.
