Mango bay is a great place to stay. However, we had considerable difficulties with their so called direct transfer arrangement. On arrival from the port we were taken half an hour the wrong way back to the airport and were told we would have to wait for 90 minutes for a group of people coming on a flight and then would be stopping at many hotels on the way to mango bay. In total this would have taken over 4 hours for a journey that should have been an hour 40 minutes from the port and costs the same in a taxi - 90 FJD. Wasnt happy considering they said that the mango bus would pick us up and take us directly and were palmed off to some other tourist transfer company. They then argued over 30FJD difference we had to pay a cab to go from the now further away airport! They said they would pay us the difference, and then did not and said that they had paid the taxi driver the difference of 30FJD which did not occur, and were basically calling us liars in other words. The other staff were great, and the actual time spent at mango was good, but the management at the front desk is absolutely appalling, and they need better systems in place to prevent this from happening. They had my sister in tears... not a nice experience to remember fiji by.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the owner was awesome. They took time to help you with everything and would work to organize any events that guests wanted to partake in. I would definitely stay here again. The hostel we stayed at after Mango Bay, our last night in Fiji, was not even close to the same caliber.

Staff were fantastic, so friendly. Dive school was brilliant too. They didn't tell us there was a local bus we could get to the airport though, it could have saved us $25 dollars each which would have been useful!

This place was absolutly fantastic!! I its right between the two major cities in Fiji, and located right on the coral coast. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. There is so much to do just at the resort that you'd never get bored. I would go back again and again!

Really friendly staff, and great place to stay. Clean, cheapish and safe. Had a great time. Only issue I would say is that its 2.5 hours to Nadi, so you really need to stay in resort unless you want to spend 5 hours in a day on a bus.
