I made a reservation for female dormitory, but they just gave me mixed dormitory. I found out in the morning that it was mixed one. I said the staff, all he did was saying 'sorry, there is nothing to do for you.'

We stayed in a 8 shared room (ensuite bathroom). The place was tiny as we expected it, but there was a bed in the airconditioner flow... We weren't one of the unlike people sleeping there. However the room wss very clean and the location of hostel great

I stayed in the hostel for 3 nights during july 2008, my first hostel expercience, and it was a lot better than i expected. The rooms are clean, as are the bathrooms. In summer it can get pretty hot but the airco makes it a little more comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are small but what would you expect in a city like new york... The roof terrace is great to eat and meet other people. Staff is very friendly and helpful, i don't see why some say the contrary. I would stay again!

Great Hostel. The location was excellent and our double room even had an air conditioner! Couldn't ask for better accommodation in this price range.
