Maple Leaf Guesthouse in Verona, Hong Kong

We really enjoyed our stay at Maple Leaf, and for sure we will again stay here for our next trip since we are fund of shopping. It is very convenient for us because commercial areas are only few steps away from this hostel. Very clean and security is okey. We salute Mr. John Smith because he was very approachable and guided us what to do on our way to Disneyland. Aside from that, the hostel price was affordable. The hostel room is so small, as usual in Hong Kong. It was in good location, near to busy areas but the general building hosting other hostels too is filled with unsecure people. They are the people owning shops on the ground floor. Thats why, would not recommend to a lady travelling alone. But the room was clean and the staff nice.

Hi Dear Customer, Thanks for your comments. If you are a person that have interests in different things, want to experience the culture of different regions, you may wish to visit here. However, if you have poor impressions on South Asia or Africa, then as a single female tourists, we have an obligation to remind you that, at the bottom of the building which our hostel is located in, there is a huge shopping malls, and have a lot of South Asian and African business shops and the most famous curry restaurant in Hong Kong.you need to get through the shopping mall then arrive at our hostel. Some people would sell goods to you (don't worry about it, they only want to do some business,pls ignore touts) in order to avoid any unpleasant, you'd better get away from them as soon as possibile. If you are not sure about the location of the hostel, you'd better ask the building security where is E Block directly ? An information desk is in the middle of the building. Dressing in security uniforms will help you to direct the location of E Block, you do not need to follow any strangers, so as not to be misled. We remind our potential customers just to make sure you do your research before staying so you know what to expect from Hong Kong hostels. Most of hostels in HK are located in the a little bit older , commercial & residential building. It is because of the low rental price. The apartments / flats are divided into small rooms. If you are muscular men and slim women with long legs, please choose rooms with double bed for one person accommodation or give us an advanced notice. if you prefer to spend your money on the markets ,shops and restaurants rather than accommodation and just need a peaceful,welcome microenvironment and a comfortable bed to rest on and a cleanness bathroom with 24 hrs hot shower. Maple leaf guesthostel is maybe one of your best choices for you . we are located in strategic location in the main tourist district. because it's cheap and convenient. Pls read some reviews(positive and negative comments) of the hostels in Hong Kong before you make booking. it will help you to make a right decision. We remind our customers. If you used to stay in 3 or 4 star hotel or without backpacker's experience, pls don't try to make booking. We think this place is not good enough for you. Thanks a million for your understanding.
