Marcopoloinn in Bariloche, Argentina

Staff was always absolutely great and very helpful. They almost read your mind! Hostel is pretty close to the city center. Great location for exploring city and surrounding. Due to the in-house bar, of course more a party location. So, if you are more seriously about hiking and exploring and therefore more interested in a good nights sleep and you don´t care too much for parties, it might not be the best location for you. This place was brill, made my trip in Bariloche. The staff are so friendly especailly Ailin at reception. The rooms were big and spacious and the dinner was yummie!!! Defo recommend this place Sorcha, from Ireland ~ 18th Mar 2009

Great with free breakfast and dinner! Spacious dorms with big enough lockers for your backpack. The only negative thing is that it is allowed to smoke in the commonroom, so it stincks there. ingunn, from Norway ~ 10th Feb 2009

Eventhough it´s near the city center you have to go up and down a huge hill everytime you go anywhere. The rooms were ok, and it´s good you get the breakfast and dinner as well. In our private room, with our own key,someone came in and drank ( in the room with our glasses) one of our bottles of wine. ( The maids do come in to the rooms to clean daily). When we mentioned this to the staff on 2 different occasions, we were told that it was our fault, that we probably drank it ourselves or must have left our door open. The staff refused to acknowledge any involvement, and insisted it was our problem. Remarkably nothing else was taken and the thief had brought their own cor Glynnis, from Canada ~ 16th Jan 2009
