I was very angry that there was no ensuite bathroom as advertised. IT DOES NOT EXSIST HERE. The apartments were older soviet style clean and maintained. I do not like being lied to but that was the only problem, and for 3 days we could put up with it.

Thank you so much! I really liked this place. Marisha's family were so helpful and kind. The apartment where I stayed was really comfy and clean and they are considerate about which room they put you in (instead of just putting you anywhere). It's a little tricky taking the mashrutka back and forth (trying to remember where to get off) but I think the trolleybus is probably fine. I would definitely stay here again.

Hi, I'm Ioana from Romania and I would like to say a few things about my recent stay at Marisha's apartment in Chisinau.It was the first time for me when I came to Moldova and I didn't know what to expect.It was a very pleasant surprise to discover in Marisha an excellent hostess and a very good guide.She can be your guide if you want to visit Moldova or,in case you want to be alone she can give you valuable informations about all the things you need:taxies, busses,useful addresses, maps and everything else you want. Staying at Marisha I had the chance to meet new people and we enjoied spending time toghether(at least I enjoied). The apartment is situated about 20 minutes from the center of the city, in a very quite area, so you won't have any problems with sleeping;I have to mention that the apartment was very clean(and I'm an pretentious person). I enjoied staying at Marisha and the next time I'm gonna come to Chisinau I'll definetelly stay at her.I highly recommend you Marisha;I guarantee you won't regret.

Great if you want the authentic Moldovan feel! It's location is a bit of a problem being out of Chisinau but there are good cheap transport links and a cab only costs a couple of quid.

I never actualy stayed at this hostel-no directions were given, except for a house number, which turned out to be a block of flats on the edge of Chisinau. Had to get poor taxi driver to drive me back to the centre to find a hotel because short of knocking on every dor in the high rise, was no way of finding out where i was supposed to be. Very annoying.
It's not the location, it's all about Marishas help, devotion and sincere way of serving people.. Go there, enjoy Moldova! Just do it!!
