The ONLY disadvantage is that you can't use your sleeping bag (but I guess that I understand why). Breakfast should be included. The best hostel in the center of Bergen. For those who prefer places just in the middle of the town. Marta, from Poland ~ 22nd Oct 2009

The refrigerators where extremely nasty, with food crawling around on its own. The date-system did not work. However, it is a great place, well situated and the staff was very friendly and informative. Prices were high-end w. 65 NOK for sheets. Come on... Would come again... Make a bar... like jacobs. Great location but on very, very busy street. If you get one of the rooms in front, bring your earplugs. Very clean and great showers for Europe - big, hot water, and good pressure. Staff was very accomodating and speaks excellent English. I would stay again - away from the Kong Oscar's gate side of the building. Ian, from USA ~ 10th Jul 2009

The staff was very friendly, and the Hostel was very clean. I also appreciated easy and free WLan and large lockers for everyone. The hostel seemed like a big shared flat and was very quiet. Fantastic elevator! Only critic: the doublebeds were very squeaky. Conclusion: I would definately recommend it! Kerstin, from Germany ~ 27th Feb 2009

Great location by the central station. Wi-fi signal was weak in room. (You need to TURN OFF windows firewall in order to use internet) Locker was BIG. As with other N.European hostels, BRING your own sheets or pay 1/4 of your room fees. Helpful staff. Will definitely go again because of its location in Central Bergen Sean, from USA ~ 16th Dec 2008
