this is recommended for backpackers/friends... it's located on the second floor of fashion walk and at the corner of the subway entrance... it's right between sogo, timesquare and park lane... the best location for shopaholics like me :-) the room is ok, at least the airconditioner is really doing it's job and there's a hot and cold shower... the bathroom is really really small... next year we're planning to go back to hk and maybe we'll still be staying here... it's jus a few days for Rona, from Philippines ~ 29th Sep 2009

Definitely secure (each room with own key) and location is perfect, right in the middle of Wan Chai. Friendly staff, thou non-english speaking. Dont expect to have a lot of fun there, despite having a small common "room" with sofa and computers. Bernardo, from Portugal ~ 14th Jul 2009

i didnt actually ever stay there and when i enquired to have things cancelled both the phone and the email bounced back and forth to other phone numbers and other emails. Luckily, they only charged the first night of my reservation. Chessie, from USA ~ 6th Apr 2009

Nice clean place. Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was perfect for exploring HK. Other guests tended to be older Chinese people, so the whole place was asleep and in quiet mode by midnight. Also, it's on the 2nd floor on a busy street, so it can be a bit noisy in the mornings. James D, from USA ~ 20th Jan 2009

The location of this hostel was one of its few strong points. We booked a 3-bed room, which had one single bed and one "double" bed that was barely big enough for one person let alone two. (We're all very small women, so our sizes weren't the issue.) The single bed had something living in it because the friend who slept in that bed woke up very itchy every morning. (The other bed was fine.) The walls in the hostel are very thin and most of the rooms share a wall with the lounge. Noisy people Katherine, from USA ~ 3rd Jan 2009
