- “ On our trip to Istanbul on October 1st to 6th 2012 the Marmara Guesthouse was our island of relaxation in this extremely vivid city in a perfect distance to all the spectacular sights and tourist restaurants in the old city of Istanbul. The rooms are small but clean and cosy. The breakfast is very different from our German one and we really loved it to have lots of tomatoes, cucumber, yoghourt with cheese, sheep 's milk cheese and fruits in the morning on the wonderful roof top terrace. ”

- “ Excellent, family run guesthouse very close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The room was very comfortable and clean and owners very nice. The rooftop terrace and breakfast are wonderful. The terrace is also quiet place to sit and see the water as well as the surrounding area. Cash payment due at time of check in so go prepared for that. Bakery, market and many cafes nearby. Request directions if getting there in your own. It is a little hard to find in the maze of streets below Sophia/Mos ”
