This is a great Hostle. It's just what most people are looking for; a secure, clean and confortable room for the night which is also very afordable. Also the staff are great, very helpful and always up for a chat. Thanks for a great stay Mann.......

I've traveled across 13 countries in Europe staying in various hostels and I hadn't had such a great staff as the staff I had here at the Matahari Lodge. They're very entertaining, friendly, fun, and best of all extremely helpful. I had a minor medical emergency (razor blade cut off the end of my finger by accident) and they were there to help me change the bandages, provide me with positive jokes to keep my mind off the pain etc. Not only that, but they're just a great crew that gave me a very warm welcome.

In a word: stay here. The two gents that run this clean, stylish, centrally located hostel are ex-airline crew and have your comfort at the top of their minds. There is a flat screen in the lounge, a deck with bamboo trees, free coffee/tea/toast all day. The rooms are small, but they are all singles. The beds have real mattresses (with springs) and soft cotton sheets. It's the most comfortable hostel I've been too.
