I booked for ensuit female dorm twice and I didn't know that I had to change my room. Any staff didn't explain it to me and they gave me the room which was not ensuit. When I asked the reason I didn't have the room that I booked, they said they had a group to come. That's all. The staffs didn't mention any inconvience that I had. In addition, when I tried to talk with that staff more about the room, she said to me she didn't want to talk with me anymore. How could those kinds of things happen??

The hostel's in a very good location (Kensington) but caters to Scouts and school groups. As a result, there's no community feel, and no where to hang out. Rooms are small but clean. DON"T have the hostel offer to ring you a taxi. It cost me double. I wouldn't stay here again.

Pro: very clean, reasonably close to two tube stations, good security. CONS: they charge for wireless, they charge for breakfast, and there's NO kitchen (not even a common area microwave). Other than the cons, this is a good hostel -- lots of kids/teens running around, but the staff make sure they're quiet after 10pm...

-one towel for four persons wasn't really enough -we had to change our room for the last night and didn't know that before we arrived - breakfast for 3 Pounds was brilliant!

Clean floors and comfy beds, as well as big lockers in your room (I could fit my whole backpack!) If you can afford it, it's a great place.

Very clean place with friendly staff. This place hosts a lot of boys/girl scouts so if you want to avoid a bunch of kids mucking around, don't come here. The elevator is super slow. Luckily they have a nice pull down seat in case you have the misfortune to have a room on the 6th floor. All in all, I highly recommend this place for it's cleanliness, location and lockers in the dormrooms. Bring your own lock.

Staff is not the best, they seem to be not so happy. The bathroom is really small. Lots of teens. the location is great!
