The kitchen was HORRIBLE! Not enough cups and no drinking glasses at all. A lot of things were broken, and a lot of people didn't even wash there own dishes, and the staff didn't care at all! The bathroom was NON clean, no shower curtains, so there was water all over the floor the entire day....and lots of human hair! Sorry, but we will never stay there again!

Nice small hostel with good location, but I wouldn't recommend it for long stay ... not enough clean.

My advice is NEVER stay at this hostel. First of all we booked through this website & when we got there they had no idea about the booking. The hostel was FILTHY! I have never seen such a dirty bathroom or bedroom in my life! There was mould everywhere & the cleaner seemed to only come once a week & when she cleaned she used the towels that were given to guests as a washing cloth, which she washed teh toilet with!! YUK! All guests complained of bed bugs & we bought our own sheets because the ones on the bed were old, stained & dirty! The room was so loud at night, across the road is a pub, next to the hostel is a gentlemens club so you can only imagine how it was staying there on a weekend. I do not & will not recommend this hostel to anyone!

Rooms not at all good. Quite dirty. I couldn't check into my room when I arrived in the late evening as the person who was in my space the night before hadn't checked out yet, but not much was done about it to help me out. I was also promised a discount because of the mix up which I never got.

Very good location! Our room wasn't too bad but in general the hostel was dirty and messy. Bathroom facilities are constantly wet and slippery. Quite noisy. If you can go through all of the above, the staff is friendly and helpful.

WE STAYED ELSE WHERE EVEN THO WE COULDNT GET OUR MONEY BACK FOR THIS DUMP! kitchen and dorms filthy, worst hostel we've stayed in in 3 months. Most of people staying there have been there for months and are very unfriendly. Only saving grace was lovely girl in desk.

great location in city however amenities could be better and a general tidy up cosmeticly, would make it a better place to stay.

Very close to Southern Cross station but that´s about the only thing redeeming feature of this hostel. Handy if you need a place to rest for a few hours while transitting.

really decent hostel... clean, tidy, pretty good location, not a party hostel, but staff are friendly and helpful.
