Tiny rooms, small beds, out-of-date tv and bathroom facilities... but they get the job done. standard and unexciting contintental breakfast. main benefits are that it's located on a quiet street and the rooms are warm.

I had a single room which was very small. The tv was at a high level, and you could not get far enough back to view it. I have not been to prison but I would think a prison cell would have been bigger. The fact that it is supposed to be an hostel doe's not give the owners a right to, what I consider to be grossly overchargeing this this acommodation. Although this seems to be the case in New Zealand

Do Not Stay Here!!! The place is a dump, the staff are unhelpful. We left after one nights stay and had to pay for an additional 2 nights. We accept that we would have to pay for an additional night but not two. In the end one nights stay cost $300!!! Not Queenstown way I believe. The staff are totally useless. I hate this place!

Generally ok, staff didn\'t explain anything on arrival and Spa out of order. Tired looking place and in need of a refurb. on the plus side 5 minute walk to central Queenstown!

registered as backpacker in "hostel world", but in fact a motel without any kitchen facilities. A big disappointment. Continental breakfast was ok. Staff not very friendly.

The single private room I had was very small and cramped, and at the price not good value for money. The hotel is in real need of a refurbish - its getting run down and a little tired.

I was not told that breakfast was included until I asked on my second day what was on the menu and how I could have some breakfast. So, I missed the first day and was not offered any reimbursement. I am also very disappointed that I had to pay 2 full person rates when that includes extra towels and an additional 2 breakfasts that I did not/nor would have eaten.

guest were unable to use kitchen, laundry $10/load (wash, dry and powder).dirty carpet and over all appearence. Was booked on-line before we departed for trip then. Desired to cancel 2nd night at time of arrival after seeing room, which was denied. Spent 25 days traveling in NZ this was our most disappointing in the entire trip. Stuck for 2 nights Christmas Day and eve. Bummer

Reception open only during the day. Main door to the bulding are not locked for a night. The room & bathroom are old and dirty and for the money, its just not worth it. Staff not very helpfull, checkout is at 10am, and despite having flight at 4pm I had to check out at 10am. The other day I had a tour at 7am. I asked if it would be possible to have a breakfast at 6.45am, and I was told that breakfast is from 7 to 9am.
