Filthy. Cleaning staff doesn't even try. TV room seats only 6 people. Not climate controlled, only a fan. Bar downstairs results in loud music till 3am, the bar is kinda lame too. Jason, from USA ~ 3rd Nov 2009

The place is in need of a facelift and the beds are not comfortable with only a foam matress. The location is good as it is close to all the key things in CBD but I wouldn't stay there above one night. Adele, from England ~ 10th May 2009

A good crack (depending on who's in your dorm!) but there's always a raoucus drunken din going on to the wee hours in the communal area! Great staff & breakie in the morning as well as cheap rooms. pretty much an ideal place to see the city and meet people. Not the cleanest place in the world but who really cares about that when it's $25 a night and there's so many people to meet. And it's so close to the city centre (well it's in it). Definately recommend it Matthew, from England ~ 6th Jan 2009

The place\'s very much like a college dorm. There are 200-300 beds so a large kitchen and large bathrooms are shared by many people. Cleanliness suffers as a result, but on the other hand you also get to meet lots of people from different places. People tend to cluster in their own little groups though, so unless you\'re intentionally friendly to people, you will actually not get the warm conversations you can expect in smaller hostels.
