Milhouse is just AWESOME! if you're looking for some fun at a very nice place, there you'll find it. All the staff is extremely kind and receptive, and the people are REALLY worth meeting. I highly recommend and plan to drop there by again. :) Barbara, from Brazil ~ 11th Jan 2012

If the idea of an inescapable, nonstop frat party entices you, then Milhouse is the place for you. Otherwise, if you value any kind of privacy, dignity or respect, go elsewhere. There are absolutely no quiet places to go to read a book, plan your day or check email. The WiFi is painfully slow, does not work in the bedrooms and access is denied during "party nights" which is almost every night. The staff ranges from disinterested to downright rude. Dear Erica, Although we certainly respect your feelings about not liking the fun side of the hostel, it is not true that you cannot have your own privacy (no less than any other hostel) or find quiet places. There's a beautiful roof terrace for hanging out, reading and sunning, an internet area and TV lounge with resting couches and a charming and quiet central courtyard. As for the staff, if you read all other reviews of our customers, they are considered one of Milhouse's main asset, friendly, always ready to help and cheerful. Again, sorry if it was like that for you.

Big hostel located two blocks from Avenida de Mayo, in the center of the city. Perfect for young people that like to party, but good even for a quiet stay (if you get, like us, a room on the 3rd floor -)). The hostel organize a lot of tour of the city and various activity, the night we arrived (monday), there was even a party with a Dj... Galera, seguinte: se vc gosta de festa, aqui eh o lugar. Tanto neste, quanto no outro hostel da rede, todas as noites tem festa. O barulho nao chega a atrapalhar, mas se seu companheiro de quarto beber demais... A limpeza deixa a desejar. Os colchoes deveriam passar um tempo no sol, pois fedem a s... isso mesmo. A galera nao perdoa. Pegacao geral!!! Nos banheiros, encontrei umas baratinhas. A cozinha, eu nao usei. O staff poderia ser mais amavel, especialmente com brasileiros. In God we trust!
