our stay at the millrace was a great experience! the staff are wonderful and so kind - it's like staying in someone's home. the kitchen is large and open all the time, so you can go and make a cup of tea whenever you like! the lodge is about a 15 minute walk from naven - so it's not too far. if you want a fun, relaxing stay in small-town ireland, the millrace is perfect for you!

Great place to stay if you are looking for something outside of Dublin. About an hour drive to the airport. The hostel was empty we were the only people staying there, but the host was really lovely and looked after us well.

This hostel was great, clean, quiet, got a decent nights sleep. The breakfasts rocked, great showers and bathrooms. The staff was amazingly welcoming and nice, they make breakfast. The location is slightly out of town, but it was about a fifteen minute walk in the irish countryside, very nice. Definitely wasn´t a partying place, but there were plenty of bars in town. Rooms were secure and clean, had our own sink. Definitely recommended if you would like to see the numerous cultural, historical and archeological sights in Meath County.
