Minto in Brisbane, Australia

It was the best place to us who were tired of noisy and dirty backpackers. The house is perfectly clean and organised. Furthermore, guests and hosts in Minto were calm and had interesting characters. Very clean with a very nice common room and an old style setting inside which added to the ambience of the place. The free internet is also a great thing. Staff are nice. A little quite and about a 20-30 min walk into city centre. Anthony, from Ireland ~ 14th Apr 2009

Excellent. I've stayed in hostels all over the world and this is by far my favourite. Nice, laid back and wuiet house within walking distance of the city centre and the west end. The place is really clean and has a lovely common area and big clean kitchen. Would highly recommend a stay to anyone looking for someone quiet and homely to relax in rather than someone looking for a party hostel. Kathryn, from England ~ 21st Apr 2009
