- “ Awesome hostel! It felt like I made a reservation in a hotel - you get new towels every day ++ great breakfast ++ perfect location ++ 24/7 security and reception ++ very friendly staff. It could not have been better! I can only recommend this hostel! The first time I give 100% - but you deserve it :-) ”

- “ One of the best I've ever stayed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the lamp in each bed was useful. The breakfast was really nice. Although the breakfast time was finished, I could get something for my breakfast thanks to a kind staff. But there is only one thing I don't like. The room was on the basement. ”

- “ This hostel is close to the public transportation (metro). I stayed in a private room. The rooms are downstairs, and do not include Air Conditioning. I only had a fan in the room. The room was very humid and it made it difficult to sleep. ”

- “ I've stayed at Hostel Montreal Central twice now and have highly enjoyed both stays. The popular bar in the front creates a great atmosphere, where it's easy to meet fellow travelers and hang out with the fun staff (with cheap beer - 2 for $6). Every day the rooms the rooms were cleaned and we were given fresh towels. I would strongly recommend HMC to other travelers. ”

- “ We arrived on a Friday in need of rest and were unaware of the band that would play 10:00 to 12:00 (followed by the after party). We could hear every drum beat in our room. It made for a restless night. However, our second night was fine. ”

- “ Pros: Some very friendly & helpful staff members, nice rooms (not too crowded even in the 8-bed room), breakfast included, GREAT location, rent bikes by the day, good set-up: even when the common area had loud music, it was quiet in the rooms. Cons: Some staff were not too helpful (new?), ensuite WC didn't appear to be cleaned in 6 days, the ADVERTISED reading lights were not there and it was a struggle to get one. It was good: I would stay here again, but I'd consider trying a dif hostel. ”

- “ I love this hostel. The staff are friendly, the price is right and I've never had a problem with any of the roommates that I've had. Every time I go to Montreal, this is the only hostel I'll stay at. It's right around the corner from the bus station and is at the best Metro station in the city because it's connected to all but one line. ”

- “ The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were two free meal nights with free beer that the staff cooked! The rooms were very clean and the hostel itself was very well kept. Montreal Central is in the Latin Quarter and was just a short walk to a lot of great bars and restaurants and a short metro to the rest of everything great to see in Montreal. I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing the staff and hostel were! ”
