If you are going to New York for a week or so I would deffinately recommend this Hostel!, The manager is an awesome guy and the rest of the staff were really nice and helpful with any question you might have. The location is alright, only a couple of streets from the nearest subway, with good shopping possibilities around. bathroom are good, eventhough in the one we used the shower were a bit tricky to figure out. overall a very good experience. the invoice issued is completely unreadable. A lot of different taxes are added in the total amount. I paid a price higher that the price i've booked with hostel.com : 85$ per night + taxes. JUST DON’T GO! IS TERRIBLE, AND THE STAFF AND MANAGER IS EVEN WORST! When we started looking for a place to stay we were looking for Hostel, then for different reasons we changed to Hotel, as I found the Morningside, I checked the reviews some of them were good, and about the bad ones we thought that there’s always someone who’s not pleased or a bad experience.. The location wasn’t bad, one of 3 girls in the front desk was very nice, but I CAN’T say the rest for the rest, ESPECIALLY
Obviously there was a problem with your room but we did Our very best to help you,No one argue with you about anything,we even upgraded you to a room with your own bathroom,cable Telelvision and wifi access.I apologize for the mishap.you order a shared bath and we upgraded you With NO EXTRA CHARGE.we did not argue with you ,but if you felt that way we apologize.
